Guardnews.org is a website devoted to helping local animal rescue groups during a natural or man-made disaster. These groups will be able to monitor disasters so they can send resources to any locality that needs help. It allows these groups to reach out to the world for donations and also for people to send them contributions. This Home page displays a map of global disasters (click on a pin; then on GDACS in the box). The Disaster Alerts page gives specific information about the most current disasters. The Donations page lists animal groups that are located in or near these afflicted areas. It is the gateway to express your concern and generosity.
